Following a 45 year long career in industry managing engineering and R&D in a large multinational, David retired 5 years ago to concentrate on music related pastimes as well as enjoying his 5 grandchildren all of whom love music. He started making classical guitars a few years before retirement and then moved onto the violin family making cellos (one of which he plays in the Stratford Symphony where he became chairman on the day of his retirement) as well as violas and violins and other types of guitar. David also does a bit of composition when he can find the time (between grand-kids and tennis) for a wide variety of instrumental mixes and even had an orchestral piece performed once at one of the Stratford Symphony concerts.
